knocked up a new chain guard today.....

since i removed the rear hugger and couldn't find the old guard, i thought i better make a new one. SUZUKI is etched, not a sticker....

just got to make a post to mount the rear,

technically it is not etched, but to look at you would think it is.
basically you wet flat it with 1000 grit paper, then get a real good quality vinyl decal and stick it on. polish the hell out of the aluminium then peel the decal off.
there you have an "etched" copy of the decal. you need to use a good quality vinyl decal as the polishing mop will just rip off the cheaper thin decals.

i will post up more pics when i have made a billet rear support post for it.........
