Ignore all these other posters. I took my wife on a ride on our 1st date. She proved to be an excellent passenger, so it becomes an nice intimate time for both of us to ride together.
I can ride where I want and as fast as I choose. She gazes about from the back seat and just goes with the flow. She knows to always hang on, as emergencies or passing may arise. She's tall enough to look over my shoulder, so there are few surprises. She did ride her own bike (GPz) for a few years, but motherhood put an end to that.
Another thought, go a buddy who will swap bikes with you for a day? At least you could get in a test ride to see what sort of passenger she is before committing to buying another bike. Or, maybe rent one for a day.
Best of luck to OP."Men will never be free until Mark learns to do The Twist."

That was Kelly. Yeah she was a fine gal for sure. The thing with her was that we were just "helpers" for each other. She didnt want anythting and that was OK with me..and she was one that had her chit together too.
Lots fun that one was..LOL. Ok guys..so I probably should recant the previous statement with the following adendum. I cant find the one to settle down with that isnt a stone cold physopath. The FWB types are fun for a while..but eventually a man needs a little more commitment.MY BIKES..1977 GS 750 B, 1978 GS 1000 C (X2)
1978 GS 1000 E, 1979 GS 1000 S, 1973 Yamaha TX 750, 1977 Kawasaki KZ 650B1, 1975 Honda GL1000 Goldwing, 1983 CB 650SC Nighthawk, 1972 Honda CB 350K4, 74 Honda CB550
NEVER SNEAK UP ON A SLEEPING DOG..NOT EVEN YOUR OWN.
I would rather trust my bike to a "QUACK" that KNOWS how to fix it rather than a book worm that THINKS HE KNOWS how to fix it.
