Anyone know?
Does anyone know how close a set of XS650 Special handlebars are to the stock GS850L handlebars? Mike's XS sells them new, but I'm not sure how they measure them. I'm waiting for a reply from them, but thought a member here might have some experience with these bikes.https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B9zH8w8Civs8ejBJWjdvYi1LNTg&resourcekey=0-hlJp0Yc4K_VN9g7Jyy4KQg&authuser=fussbucket_1%40msn.com&usp=drive_fs

Hopefully they are NOWHERE near close.
I think the L handlebars were invented as a medieval torture device.
When we got my wife's bike (850L) it had bars that were almost flat. Her short arms could not reach them comfortably, so I went on a search. Ended up with a set of bars from a KZ1300B, which was a full-dresser, much like the GS1100GK. Much more comfortable.
I have not tried the Yamaha bars, but Kawasaki LTD and Honda Custom bars (equivalent to Yamaha Special and Suzuki L) are much better than Suzuki's L bars.
