    KG luggage rack

My KG luggage rack and backrest were very rusty when I uncovered the bike after sitting a few years. Chrome is actually peeling off the back of the rack. Thought about having it rechromed, but probably pretty expensive. Since the bars, fork legs and other trim are black, I got it sandblasted and power coated in a satin black. I think it looks better than the original chrome. $150 bucks well spent.

Very nice accent on your silver(-ish) bike.

Yes, chrome would have felt out of place.

..now do the engine crash guards and complete the look ... (just my 2¢) .

I think if EVERYONE gave him their two cents, he might be able to afford to do the crash guards.

Yeah, I've been thinking the same thing. I told the guy at the powder coating business that I'd probably be back :-)
