    Clocks

    Anybody have an idea as to theater plastics on clocks were a gloss at matt finish.I've just dismantled mine to respray them.Conan

    Which "plastics"?

    I do understand that "clocks" would be the speedo and tach.

      ​sorry ment to say weather.Yes speedo,tach and gear position/fuel gauge.Its the outer plastic casings.Conan

          And your probably REALLY meant to say "whether", but at least we know what you are asking about now.

          Can't say that I have seen 'new' clocks lately to evaluate the sheen on them, but I think it's safe to say they were NOT gloss.

              I would rather trust my bike to a "QUACK" that KNOWS how to fix it rather than a book worm that THINKS HE KNOWS how to fix it.

                    Mother's Back to Black really did mine justice. Not sure I'd want to paint them unless they were otherwise destroyed.

                        I just sprayed some Duplicolor Trim and Bumper paint on the inside of my little fairing last night. Nice stuff.

                            Update sprayed with primer then matt black looked good but when I put on matt lacquer paint started bubbling peeling.Any ideas.Conan
