How do you clean the glop there ...

I have my tank off to do my clutch cable and figured I would snug up my valve cover since I was getting some seepage and am cleaning my engine. Man oh man I love that simple green!!

    but

How do I clean the glop that has developed down in around the spark plugs. I can get all the fins and everything else but that glop is an issue. I tried spraying some engine clean on it, waiting 12 minutes and hosing it off but on a cold engine it hardly made a dent.
So what are you guys doing besides maybe just not looking down in there!!

Take out the plugs and stuff a rag in the hole. The plug is now out of the way and a conical wire brush and a dermal should clean the real quite nicely. shop vac anything loose up and put the plug back n.

I would rather trust my bike to a "QUACK" that KNOWS how to fix it rather than a book worm that THINKS HE KNOWS how to fix it.

Another option would be to find bolts with the same thread size as the spark plugs, and replace the spark plugs with them while cleaning
