Howdy, I just got new sleeves from Boulevard for my new to me airbox so I though I would put up a little tutorial how to replace them cuz I had to figure it out from the parts fiche myself.
airbox with one sleeve in:
sleeve, note little alignment tabs on circumference
correct alignment with airbox body
easiest way to insert sleeve
sleeve in place, be sure to align flattened part of sleeve with flat spot in radius of the airbox tube, note how the little tabs on the circumference lines up with the notches in the airbox tube.
done.
I know it seems simple enough but it took me a while to sus it out having no sleeves to go from to begin with. Maybe that's why the bike wouldn't idle hmm?
