    thanks.

i still need to decide if i want to pull the carbs and dip them, do a bench synch, etc. i have never taken them off and i'm not sure how long i want to be without a bike (weather has been super nice here)

i know the intake boots and intake o-rings were replaced. i don't know if there's anything on the other side that i should touch.

can i clean the carbs and bench synch without taking them apart? just soak them whole? i'm not terrified, but a little nervous about taking them apart

Take them apart and clean them properly. VM's are the easiest carbs you will ever work on.
