Well I made some gas cap seals from neoprene for the TX 750 and used contact cement to glue them to the metal reatiner plate. Well the gas has eaten the contact cement, so I am looking for a suitable fuel resistant adhesive to reapply the rubber to the cap. Any suggestions or sucess stories on anything youve used????

Try 3M Weatherstrip Adhesive (Yellow or Black) and allow it to dry over-night.

The 3M weatherstrip adhesive would certainly do the job. I use it on master link clips on my chain. It holds until you cut it off with a razor blade.
