Idle AND up to about 1/8 throttle where they start to actually transition onto the main circuits.MY BIKES..1977 GS 750 B, 1978 GS 1000 C (X2)

NEVER SNEAK UP ON A SLEEPING DOG..NOT EVEN YOUR OWN.
I would rather trust my bike to a "QUACK" that KNOWS how to fix it rather than a book worm that THINKS HE KNOWS how to fix it.

3 CAV...whats the intake and exhaust setup? Pods and 4 into 1 or stck configuration? Thats gonna determine the jetting like was mentioned.MY BIKES..1977 GS 750 B, 1978 GS 1000 C (X2)

The next time I play with it I will start to adjust the idle screws and lean them out some, but I am very happy with the way the bike is running now, regards Neil

Glad to hear she's running Neil!
You should still be able to get that Yamalube carb cleaner somewhere though... it's available on the Yamaha online store and I was able to pick a bottle up from the local Team Moto dealer here at Enoggera too... sounds like it's not necessary now though1982 GS450E - The Wee Beastie
