    Starting points for jetting carbs.

Hey all, I just bought a bandit 1200 motor. It has stock internals and either gsxr1100 or 750 cams, still trying to find those. I would like to use my 34mm carbs from my old 1100 16v motor, rather than buying new flatslides. The carbs have been jetted already for pod filters and exhaust. It runs great. I know i'm going to need to re-jet for the new motor.

Does anyone have a baseline recommendation?

    Thanks

    going off memory......
the older bs carbs linkage will hit the cooler/top end oiler lines between the intake boots.
also if you have a st.3 jet kit in the 34 bs carbs and you can get them to fit...just try them before any jetting...you may be surprised.
if you don't have a jet kit then i would get a set of RS36 or RS38 or a set of bandit type of carbs and add the jet kit.
