Where do these carb vacuum lines go?
I have the tank off my 1979 GS1000 so I could rebuild the petcock. I tried to find a new one but no luck, so I have rebuilt the old one. I am about to replace the fuel tank and I am trying to figure where the three vacuum lines from the carbs go. One should go to the fuel petcock, another should go to the diaphram under the fuel tank.

Are the VM carb hoses the same?
I have the other VM style carbs not the CV style carbs, can I use the same hose routing chart?
The chart in the link is just what I needed as the Haynes manual did not address it...

Pretty much the same, the hose on #3 carb goes to the petcock,(that is the vacuum hose) the other 2 from the carbs are vent hoses, they go up over the airbox if you still have one fitted. the pipe that goes to the underside of the fuel tank is a overflow pipe from the tank gauge sender, should it spring a leak. that hose goes towards the airbox and down to the floor.1978 GS1085.
Just remember, an opinion without 3.14 is just an onion!
