Where can I get the part that screws into the underside of the carb to head boot to synch my vm26's?

Hardware store, if you are creative. I threaded some brass tubing a few years ago, with a nut and an O ring it works great.

Bolts with holes drilled through the centre of them.

As Tkent02 said, be creative. Z1 if you don't care to be.

What are you using for a gauge (set)?

It should have come with adapters, but just in case it didn't, click HERE.

I made a set this way. Drilled through an allen head screw and used JB Weld to attach some copper tubing. I prefer these to the store bought adapters and have used them a good many times now.

I made my threaded tubes in about eight different lengths, it is very handy for threading into the ports on different sized bikes. Why they put the ports on the underside I'll never know.

I just found in the drawer at work, fittings I've used a million times.... they are SMC Elbows, M5 thread on one end, push to connect 4mm tube at the other end....I think I will use those! Uggg....
