The small DJ main jets are too small.
The 132 DJ should be run with an aftermarket pipe and stock airbox.
Mikuni jets would be between 117.5-122.5 with the same set up.
1983 GS 1100E w/ 1230 kit, .340 lift Web Cams, Ape heavy duty valve springs, 83 1100 head with 1.5mm oversized SS intake valves, 1150 crank, Vance and Hines 1150 SuperHub, Star Racing high volume oil pump gears, 36mm carebs Dynojet stage 3 jet kit, Posplayr's SSPB, Progressive rear shocks and fork springs, Dyna 2000, Dynatek green coils and Vance & Hines 4-1 exhaust.
        1985 GS1150ES stock with 85 Red E bodywork.

mark's78, tweak the pilot fuel screws out a hair. That is typical on the VM26 carburetors, I'm not familiar with the 29's but they might work the same. That transition point is a PITA if it is lean because that is where you drive a lot in town. You will have to also adjust the air screw for highest idle any time you adjust the pilot fuel screws. I don't know the 29's but the 26's seem to run best with the pilot fuel screws adjusted where the air screws peak highest idle at around two turns out.

They seem good, the main jet sizes seem to jive with Mikuni jets.

That is very clean. I had an 1981 GS750E and I used that paint scheme on a repaint.

Also not in the other thread going on about rejetting that the Dyno Jet kits and the factor pro kits are significantly different.

I don't know how much you have been riding it, but at least the pipes do not look all cooked.

That GS750 was close to stock, with air box and 4:2 but I had put in the 1100 intake cams (same as yours) and had the same K&N filter in the airbox with cover on. I had to increase the main jet about 2 steps over stock. It had been a little lean before with just teh K&N, but the after the cam it has a noticeable hunt at 1/8 throttle that went away with more main.

What do you guys do for the crankcase ventilation that comes out of the valve cover with pods?

I use a cool whip container with a special hole in it and a K&N chrome filter. They almost cancel each other out.

Would one of those little breather filters work? put like a 90 degree elbow pointing the filter up.
