not firing on 2 and 3- options?

ok so i just did this-
i pulled a plug and tested each plug wire with plug in it with the threaded side grounded. only one and four spark. i swapped the wires leading to each coil and i get no spark at all on any wire.
thoughts?

Sounds somewhat likely. Did you check the secondary and primary impedances of the coils? Sometimes the boots can go bad completely open.
