    Hella Headlights

I have only seen brief mentions of people using Hella headlights in their GS buckets so I was wondering if I ordered something like this Hella 7" H4 light:

If it would fit in a normal 7" motorcycle headlight bucket like this one on Z1:
Z1 Enterprises specializes in quality Motorcycle parts for Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki and Yamaha Classic Japanese motorcycles from the 1970's and 1980's.

    Thanks,
    Logan

It would fit and it would work, but the light pattern would be optimized for a car.

Or is there one accepted as a better quality unit?

Hella does make a motorcycle lamp and they are high quality

The Bosch one should be OK

I'll bet you could get your local auto parts store to order you one

I use the Candlepower reflector and have been very happy with it, so that or the Bosch would be fine.

Anyone know where I could find a motorcycle 7" Hella? The only thing I could find was a motorcycle mention here : http://www.rallylights.com/Hella_7_i...Headlamps.aspx

Also is the candlepower reflector supposed to be better than the Bosch one?

              Thanks for the info everyone!

I also am about to make the conversion from the old sealed beams to something that lights up the road in front of me alot better. This thread has been very helpful.

I just got a link, I think it is for a dual head lights in a car, you only use one of the plugs I got a 35 watt, 5000 candle power, it has the most natural light. I like them so well I put a set in my old toyota truck.
