what wire gauge do i need?

I'm rebuilding most of the wiring on my GSX400, which wires should be the "heavy load" ones and what gauge should they be

    is this ok?
battery + to relay to starter: 10 - 8 awg
battery - to frame and engine: 10 - 8 awg
    ignition +:12 14 awg
    grounds to frame: 12 - 14 AWG

    thanks

I went #8 for leads to the starter relay and then to starter. Also #8 for battery to frame ground then to engine.
Ignition I went with the factory wires.
Grounds were either 12, 14 or 16. I also made all grounds terminate to a single location.

I also installed relays for high and low beam, coils and horn.

She turns over without any issues and this is a 1000 with the Yosh 1085 big bore.

For the main battery wires I used marine grade tinned wire due to its superior properties and flexibility. Wish I used it for everything else also, but $$ limitations.

I would rather trust my bike to a technician that reads the service manual than some backyardigan that THINKS HE KNOWS how to fix things.
