    The helmet lock or gas cap lock has the numbers, if it still uses the same key as the ignition. If not the numbers are either on the side of the keyhole or on the side of the lock, take the ignition lock out to look for a three digit number.

      If the key also or used to work on the seat lock, remove it and the numbers are on the back side of it.

        I've found this vendor to have good quality nos keys. Usually 3digit on your key or gas cap lock cylinder.

          Thanks jbird. that's good info...I'll have to remove the ignition switch cylinder and maybe find those 3 digits I keep hearing about!

            Don't think you'll easily find it on the ignition cylinder. Easily found on the seat/helmet lock or fuel filler cap.
