Lots of guys like to fiddle with them and they are easy to replace, but personally I would get a more reliable replacement. http://www.z1enterprises.com/ItemDet...item=KS12-0011http://www.thegsresources.com/_forum...ine=1440711157'78 GS1000E, Dyna-S ignition, Dyna Green Coils, K&N pods, Delkevic SS 4-1 exhaust, Dynojet Stage 3 jet kit, Russell SS Brake Lines, Progressive suspension, Compu-Fire series Regulator 55402 and Advmonster cree LED headlight conversion.

It replaces the banjo bolt on your front brake master cylinder and hooks to the wires going to the brake switch. You can use it on front or back brakes. The back switch doesn't seem to fail like the front, but might have to be adjusted as it gets older.Last edited by OldVet66; 07-02-2014, 12:39 AM.http://www.thegsresources.com/_forum...ine=1440711157'78 GS1000E, Dyna-S ignition, Dyna Green Coils, K&N pods, Delkevic SS 4-1 exhaust, Dynojet Stage 3 jet kit, Russell SS Brake Lines, Progressive suspension, Compu-Fire series Regulator 55402 and Advmonster cree LED headlight conversion.
