    indicators driving me crazy,

Hi bought a GS850g 1979 bike , I needed many parts from it for my Gs1980g, one of which was the signal control module, but I cant get the indicators to work at all, I have checked power and there is live feed from the handlebar switch both left and right going to the 4way block that connects to the module but as its a sealed unit I dont know if I can check anything else , I have taken the cover off and I noticed there is some rusting to the top of the coils and generally corrosion, gave it a good spray of wd40 and cleaned the plug connectors but still nothing, I have changed the flasher relay too. Im at a blank now, should I try for a new module or is there a common fault that could cause this, all wiring and earths are sound and the switch is working fine

The module is a common fault area.

The '79 and '80 signal control modules are NOT compatible.
      I ride many bikes.
      Some are even Suzukis. :D

There's an easy fix for it with a couple of relays. There's a walk thru on the fix here, from Cliffs site of course
