Samsonite key question
Do you need to have the keys to properly mount Samsonite luggage? I've seen several for sale used but without the keys and am wondering if this is a huge PITA or not.Rob

It's a PIA but not a huge one. if you couldn't find a replacement key you would have to grind a slot into the head so you could remove them with a screwdriver.
later on this evening, I'll post a closeup picture of the bolt and the keys used to retain the luggage.

Lynn, the key Samsonite use is one of those round keys with the pin grooves around the outside edge. similar to what you would find on a vending machine.
does a locksmith normally make ones like that?
