    Case Guards

    Thinking about buying a pair of 3point case guards for my 750E, they came off an 81 750 and I run a Vance/Hines 4-1, I was curious if there will be mounting problems because of the down tube pattern.

    Probably not, as the case guards stay pretty close to the engine.

    However, the exhaust might make access to the bottom nut on the right-hand side a challenge.

      None what so ever, I have the 3 point guards on my 750E. You might be able to see it my sig. Besides, the 80 and 81 GS 750E are identical bikes.

      Stuff I've done to my bike:dancing: 1100E front end with new Sonic springs, 1100E swing arm conversion with new Progressive shocks installed, 530 sprockets/chain conversion, new SS brake lines, new brake pads. New SS fasteners through out. Rebuilt carbs, new EBC clutch springs and horn installed. New paint. Motor runs strong.
