Bike starts runs then quickly dies when you spray fuel into intakes.
Carb bowls are full , needle valves seem to operate ok

    Question.
what kind of air cleaner(s) are you running or are you trying to start this without an air cleaner attached?

      Fuel

yes I have the air cleaners off put what is puzzling is that I changed the plugs the bike started right up but fuel was leaking from the #1 & #2 carb.
I removed the carbs and inspected the bowls to see if the needle valves were stuck open.
Then when I replaced the carbs she started this problem. It just will not run with out adding fuel to the intake side.

Without an air cleaner in place an 850 will run lean (they don't like air leaks at all!) you must have a sealed air cleaner on or pods with properly jetted carbs for it to run correctly, #1 & 2 flooding ads more fuel, then it may run but 3 & 4 will still be lean... find the cause of the flooding and fix it (if you haven't already) and put the air cleaner(s) back on and go from there.... IMO
and check the seals on the air filter box covers (chrome covers) for deterioration

          Fuel

I think I understand with air filterbox off I'm getting more air than fuel this equates to that to much air flow thru the venturi which will stall the gas flow up thru the jet?
Wow never figured on that so airflow is that critical that it would put positive pressure on the fuel intake side makes since because of the gravity feed from the tank.
          To use to fuel pumps.
Thanks will put airbox on and go from there.

the fuel leak may be related to a petcock issue too. When you take the fuel line off do you have gas flow or does it stop? I have found excess gas flow when my petcock valve went and I had a wide open fuel flow.
