I've been using 20wt hydraulic oil with no problems at all and I'm 5'11" and weight almost 300lbs. I get a gallon at Tractor Supply Co. for like $8.00.:-D

atf has anti foaming properties added ,wear agents added ect., engine oil has a lot of the bad things removed (wax ect.) has anti wear properties added (moly, zinc ect.) viscoscity index improvers if it's a mutigrade oil, its a lot more complicated than this (i'm no engineer by any means) but for me close enough.
i went on a diet last night i'm now 106... i LIKE that!
