      carb thingy

I bought a cheap but effective set from www.Denniskirk.com for less than $50. Have used them many times over the years.

Most people on the forum seem to recommend the Motion Pro. I have a set of 4 vacuum gauges designed for carb synch work, they work great as far as I'm concerned, and easily calibrated. But Motion Pro is the most popular it seems.

or one gauge and a aquarium 4way (i use a brass valve), a p.v.c. chamber to dampen the pulses (or 4 inline restrictors) and the apropriate adaptors for the carbs.

I just got one from bikebandit.com. 56 bucks plus S&H. The funny thing is, I tried to get one at the local bike shop, and they told me they can't be sold in California anymore. New environmental laws prohibit them because of the mercury. Yet bikebandit was able to sell me one. Go figure.
