Everyone makes mistakes and even they may have been swamped with orders, phones and such but IF they had assumed things are in stock or should have been in, when in actuality they never even looked that is just laziness and it needs to be corrected, call or e-mail the manager be polite and get things changed!

    or try... http://www.mrcycles.com/fiche_select...g=Suzuki#SDOWN

Just so you know i'm biased, having worked in a parts department for 33 years.

Thats where I got really bummed. I called, stated my problem, asked for an explanation (knowing things happen and seeing if my business was important) and they didnt want to even do that. I was even told "your 20 bucks isnt THAT important to us". Well maybe the 20 isnt, but the hundreds I am planning on spending when I do the winter tear down might. Oh well....

          so......

So I got my shipment, and they sent me the wrong rod. not even close. and I chose it from the diagram on their site. UGH. But they did send the oil seals. Luckily I ordered 2. F'd the 1st one up putting it in.

I spent the better part of 4 hours trying to get my bent rod straight. Got it very close so figured I would give it a shot.

So got everything put back together, charged the battery and all was good.

          Thanks for the help all!

Glad it worked out! I screwed up 2 oil seals getting one in correctly.

            Watch them downshifts!

I figured out a nice trick to get them in. I used a wide spark plug socket and gently tapped it in so the pressure would be even. The first one I screwed up was because it wasnt going in even. This way worked peaches...3 taps and it was in.
