    Bike wont start...again.

today when I went to start my bike instead of a satisfying "vrrroom" I got a "crunch" Now my bike wont turn over.. when I push the start it feels like somethings jammed. I tried to bump start it but when I kicked it in second the rear tire would only slide.

    ugh

    I'm driving a 81 GS650g.

I'm not quite sure what "hydro locked" means.

      I'm a n00b

liquids do not compress and can interrupt the compression stroke of the engine, locking it in place. you can pull the plugs and see if anything funky is in the cylinders, or if water got in

Sorry, should have said hydra-locked as in hydraulically locked.
what i meant is if the carbs over flow into the engine it fills up with a non compressible liquid (gasoline in this case) then when the piston normally comes up to compress the air/ fuel mixture it can't, because it has been replaced with the non compressible liquid, usually it has an accompanying crack as something gives way followed by an engine that won't turn any further. pull all the plugs and check for fuel in the cylinder(s) please. leave the ingnition key off (gasoline and spark not a good idea), put it in gear with the bike on the center stand and turn the rear wheel to see if the engine will turn over now.
