    headlight switched??

    hi,

planning on rebuilding the electrical on my gs750 '78
Notice dthe 3rd wire from the alternator is switched trough the headlight switch.

Now, I want to get rid of the switch and let the lights turn on when the enine is running.
Normally, when the headlight switch is on, the lights are switch with the ignition.

Does anyone know how to switch the lights when engine is running?

Bypass the on and of switch and connect the extra stator wire directly into the R/R.

Did the same, but in addition I put in a relay, shutting off light when start button is activated, to ensure full juice for start motor.
