    Intake adapter for carb balancing?

I have a 82 gs650gl that we've just finished rebuilding the carbs on. I had ordered a Morgan Carbtune, but the place I ordered from sat on the order for a week and then (when I called) told me it was backordered. I'm under some time pressure, so we're going to try to do something on our own. I need the little adapters that fit in where the intake screw goes so that I can attach the hoses to the intakes. Is this something I can find locally? Anyone know what it's called/what size it is/where they can be found?

If you are handy with a drill I've read about people drilling a small screw (5 or 6mm) down the middle and gluing a piece of tubing on the end.

<hint> drill hole from both ends of the bolts meeting in the middle.
use a brass tube/nipple and solder it on, more durable that way.

we drilled out bolts, cut off the heads, and tach welded a nut about halfway down, then got tubing that was the same size as the bolts ( i wanna say it was 6mm )

The tubing may have been 6 mm (1/4"), but the adapters are 5 mm.

I have threaded some metal tubes from the hardware store, put a nut on and screwed them into the manifolds. Took less time to make than it took to drive to the hardware store.
