37mm 'ish dia
148mm 'ish inside to inside
148mm+37mm=185mm 'ish center to center
I only have a meter stick at work.Last edited by rustybronco; 06-02-2008, 03:42 PM.

My digital calipers read Ø36.9 on the tube and 147.9 between the tubes. That would be 184.8 on centers. Calipers not being the most accurate things in the world, nominal numbers should probably be Ø37 tubes at 185 mm centers.

Hmmmm, don't the fork braces attach to the fork lowers? The CTC measurment would be the same but the lower tubes are larger in diameter than the upper tubes. Or was that what you guys were measuring? On my GS550E, the fork brace actually clamps around the slider rubber.Last edited by Guest; 06-02-2008, 04:23 PM.

yea it does attach to the lowers but if the measurements are the same, which they are, i know that the fork bottoms are the same. its just easier to measure the stantions because they HAVE to be round, unlike the fork lowers.
