    78 GS550E r/r question

I have a seperate rectifier and regulator. In reading through these posts I see there is a Honda replacement that will replace both of these components. How do I know wich one to buy? What info do I need etc.? Thanks

Several people have replaced the dreaded separate regulator and rectifier with a Honda unit. The main advantage is it will outlast the bike and for most applications it bolts into the existing holes.

            Please read the link...
Blue highlighted ones are suitable for the GS
or as Pos suggested, buy one of the duanage kits. it will be all you need, and most likely the best $40 you will ever spend.
