Carb rebuilding
FYI...Anyone in need of top notch carb rebuilding check out wgcarbs.com He did my VM 26s for my 77 gs750. total cost was $338.00 US funds. Email him for turn around times as he does them in the order he recieves them..Does a great job.MY BIKES..1977 GS 750 B, 1978 GS 1000 C (X2)

Nice to know, but you could have done the same job yourself for about $300 less.

probably so ifi was a carb savy type.. besides he runs them in an engine and tunes them before he sends them back..all that and no aggrivation from my end was worth it to me.. was jsut throwing it out there. Always nice to have resources and options. Just trying to be of some use in this world LOL. I was just creating an album.. All engines have different vacuum pull on different cylinders.
I'm sure he did great work I just thought you should know this.1983 GS 1100E w/ 1230 kit, .340 lift Web Cams, Ape heavy duty valve springs, 83 1100 head with 1.5mm oversized SS intake valves, 1150 crank, Vance and Hines 1150 SuperHub, Star Racing high volume oil pump gears, 36mm carebs Dynojet stage 3 jet kit, Posplayr's SSPB, Progressive rear shocks and fork springs, Dyna 2000, Dynatek green coils and Vance & Hines 4-1 exhaust.
1985 GS1150ES stock with 85 Red E bodywork.

This was intended as a resource for those not as ADVANCED in such areas as obviously you are.. And yes i did know that each bike has to be synced as it is unique. I was simply putting it out there for anyone wishing to have it done professionally like i did. Now that being said, to find the parts, clean the carb bodies inside and out, reset to factory settings, run them on an actual engine instead of "GUESSING" as to where to start from and at least get them really close so all you need to do is fine tune it a bit isnt such a bad deal.MY BIKES..1977 GS 750 B, 1978 GS 1000 C (X2)

Thanks for the kudos on the bike so far.. i need to get some more polishing done but it has come a long way. Wish had taken some before pics so you could see just how awefull it really was when i got it..hope it gives others some joy too.. As i said i am a newbie to bike projects. What would you charge to do all the covers on the engine..I did some polishing myself but i would ultimately like it to be like a mirror quality if thats possible?? I dont know all the names of the covers, b ut you know what i am asking..MY BIKES..1977 GS 750 B, 1978 GS 1000 C (X2)
