Looks like the right cylinder is running rich so it doesn't need anything more from the pilot circuit. Maybe the float height is too high? Not sure.Ed

My initial guess is that it may be a float (and/or) a float level issue and fuel has washed the coloration off the plug. it's either running rich, or the plug isn't firing because of no spark getting to the plug, or a bad plug.
can you check the float level(s) by making a fitting to go into the drain screw hole and check the fuel level(s) externally with a clear tube?

Oh, and kparkfan... I would love to find a supply of needle jets (and other hard to find parts for this carb) as I'm down to my last two good ones in my two good bikes.

Ok heres what I found when i took the carbs apart. one of my needle jets has a bad oring and is loose as hell. Think i just found the reason for it being a pain in my butt. now the question is, does cycle-orings sell individual orings. or should i just order it from my dealer.I didnt do it I swear !!

For the cost of an o-ring or two, plus shipping, you can probably order a complete set from cycleorings.com.

I usually pic my stuff up fom southside plus i have to order a couple other things and im only needing the one oring and they have them for 74 cents. so do you guys think that it being loose is what was causing my troubles. letting gas get by or something.I didnt do it I swear !!
