    Headlamp lens/reflector Diameter

Anyone know where I can find an official diameter of a lens/reflector assembly for a 81 gs750L? It seems to be 6 3/8", but I'd like to be sure before I order something. And does anyone know of a good place to get aftermarket headlamp?

Or is there a way to clean my current one. The inside is all cloudy.

If you are talking about condensation on the inside surface of the lens, and your headlight is not a sealed unit, take out the bulb, and carefully insert a swatch of material cut from an old t-shirt or whatever...soft and absorbent. Wipe carefully, using a plastic or wooden stick....don't touch the reflector. Pick up an H4 Osram Sylverstar bulb, and you should be good to go. If your bike has a sealed beam, you are probably looking at replacing it....maybe go with an assembly that allows you to change bulbs in the future, as some here have done.

      Thanks Tony,

It's not sealed, and the fogging is actually discoloration of the plastic (not moisture) (it may be glass though). It may BE from moisture, by not of itself (it looks like an original part). I'll give your idea a try.

TWO "L" model chrome headlamps. Both sealed beam. One in really nice shape, the other in decent shape. Have sealed beams for both, but also have modern stuff that you can switch too if youre interested....
pm TCK and see if he has a spare H4 headlight for sale.
