How do I know which plug caps to order?

Trying to order replacement plug caps online, and there are several options for NGK plug caps.

    Check out BikeBandit's guide - http://www.bikebandit.com/assets/dig...-Cap-Guide.gif

How do I know what my 1150 needs?

The answer is on BassCliff's site, but somewhat hidden in the "electrical odd and ends" section:

        Spark Plug Cap Replacements
        thanks to Ms. SqDancerLynn1

[For] replacing the stock caps [use] 2 each - NGK XB05F and VB05F.

Cut off a small slice (1/4 inch) of the end of the plug wire and screw in the new plug caps. This makes a good connection with fresh (uncorroded) wire.

Has NGK changed the angle of their XB05F? I ordered two of them, and they won't work on my bike, the angle isn't wide enough. The new one doesn't even come close to matching the one it should be replacing.

I've seen a lot of conflicting information regarding the XB05F on several different websites, some say it's a 120-degree plug and some say it's a 102-degree plug, I just chalked it up to typos, but it appears not to be. The Cap I have is definitely NOT 120 degrees, but is etched with the XB05F.

Can anyone suggest a cap that will fit better? If I can't find a 120-degree, resistor-type cap, can I use the straight-type cap (SB05F)?
