    Name this carburator!

I would be glad if someone could help me identify my carburators before ordering O-rings. They are from my GS1100G(D) -83 model.
They look like Mikuni 34's to me, but there are some differences when compared with other pictures on this fine forum.
Every one has it's own vacuum nipple, is this usual? I have moved the vacuumhose from no. 1 to no. 2 ( counting left to right when sitting on the bike )
What is the bend beside the mount for the throttlewire used for?
I'll be grateful for any input!

( Yes, I know they are dirty and in need of a good soak! )

They look like 34’s. All the BS/CV carb O-ring kits are the same so you are safe to order. And that curved tube is for your choke cable.

OK, now ... how much do you tip your waitress?

                  I have found that 10 to 15 ...

                  degrees usually works.

I have found that 45 degrees is optimum. That way you get all that loose change out of her pockets as well...

Then you must be tipping them 45 degrees beyond horizontal.

The numbers 34 and 36 ... are they the outer diameter of the end that mates with - not waitresses, but the boots?

I prefer waitresses sitting very much the same way as they would on an GS1100!
There is something about the angle of attack that gets to me every time!

                        Thanks!

My row of carbs got a knob on the left side of no. 1 that is used for the choke, so I guess the bend is something left over from another model - maybe a GS1100G with a fairing?
Do they have a choke button somewhere else?

The 80-81 850 and 1000G's had the choke knob in the steering stem.
The '82-up 850-1100G's had the choke lever on the left hand control.

that carb rack is for the '82-up

Thanks, that should be ok then.

Do you know what the difference between BS34 and BS36 carbs are?
