    fork seals 83 GS1100E

Ok, I know you can change fork seals on an 850 without dismantling the forks as I have done it already and it's quite simple. My question is, with the anti dive and the balancing out front end on the 1100 is it possible to change these seals without total disassembly as the 850 was or is it quite diferant? Thanks in advance for your thoughts.

That's ok, I'll figure it out myself.

Yes it is possible, but not advisable, as there are two sets of bushes in the fork that should be replaced at the same time, and to replace them you will nedd to dismantle the fork legs.

Dink, what are these bushes of which you are speaking? Is it the fittings or where the fittings attach?
