Well I got them on the bike and now it makes me think about painting the dust boots on the shocks gold also.
As well as the rims, cam cover ends, lower fork tubes and air box covers.
Engine black with gold exhaust?
It never seems to end...

How about with a black engine w/ gold fins on the top half, gold exhaust and a black brace also?
Perhaps black exhaust would be better?

I think it looks pretty good this way actually. I like a black exhaust, I think gold looked way to gaudy. Black keeps it functional. The engine also is a nice touch. The silver engine and pipes clashed too much with the black and gold scheme.Originally posted by 7981GS View Post
