    Just a little more power?

    Do the basic maintenance, if it's not caught up. After that, the real performance experts are going to need to know how much power you want, and what your budget is.

        after basic maintenace

        cheapest:
        • 1/4 throttle mod
        • 530 chain conversion with gear ratio change
        first level is probably:
        • 4:1, pods and jet kit (300+75+125)=$500
        • New carbs to replace stock 34mm ( pick one ; a little guess on what those carbs will yield properly jetted)
          • 1150 36mm carbs ($100) + 2to3 hp
          • GSXR 36mm CV Flatslide ($150) +4to6 hp
          • Mikuni 36mm RS Flatslide ($400) +8to10 hp
        Next engine internal
        • 1166 kit ($600)
        • cams ($300)
        • head work ($400) ==> $1500 with gaskets
