    1980 gs850g

    i have a 1980 suzuki gs850g it has no front brakes i cant find a parts bike for it either would some one give me advice on upgrading front brakes what other suzuki can i take front brake assembly off of

    Any GS850 after 1980, and any GS1000G or GS1100G calipers will bolt straight onto your bike. If you are missing the discs, they can be sourced at the same time.

    Be sure to service any calipers that you find before fitting them, as their seals may need replacing, and their grooves will need cleaning out.

    You should service your master cylinder too. Replacing the original rubber brake lines with after market stainless steel ones is a good performance improvement.
