Don't say can't, as anything is possible with time and effort, but, if you don't have time things get tougher and require more effort.

but, as i said, i dont want it to look like a plumbers jigsaw kit with elbows etc.
the fitting fits nice in the hole and and has a nice flange on the bottom that fits well on the cover. i am going to turn down the hex to a nice tapered flange.1978 GS1085.

Last thing you want it to do is look inelegant, what about an elbow hose tail with a flex? easy to spin down a tube with flange and o rings goes into the hole push fit, hose tail 90 degrees off that and any tubing plain black, fancy braid?sigpic

The color of the fittings should be the color of the engine. Clean up the fitting and maybe drop the horizontal tube about a half inch. Maybe use thicker od tube? The bends look right. Or if you can get tubing that is the same size as the hole and eliminate the nut altogether.Last edited by 1980GS1000E; 05-25-2013, 05:26 PM.NO PIC THANKS TO FOTO BUCKET FOR BEING RIDICULOUS

I would rather trust my bike to a "QUACK" that KNOWS how to fix it rather than a book worm that THINKS HE KNOWS how to fix it.
