Oil Cooler for GS750EZ - Use one from 83 or other year??

Trying to figure if this is worth the effort. I don't see much out there for my bike but a decent amount of used oil coolers for 83 gs550's and 83 gs750es. Can either of these be used on my bike?

    Thanks

Uh no. You do not want to use an oil cooler on your bike. You have friction bearings on your crank, not the roller bearings like the 1100s do. An oil cooler could rob your oil pressure and end up burning up the crank. That is the reason the 80-82 750s don't have oil cooler plugs like the 1100s do.

Stuff I've done to my bike:dancing: 1100E front end with new Sonic springs, 1100E swing arm conversion with new Progressive shocks installed, 530 sprockets/chain conversion, new SS brake lines, new brake pads. New SS fasteners through out. Rebuilt carbs, new EBC clutch springs and horn installed. New paint. Motor runs strong.
