Earls Oil Cooler - 2 Defective?

    Hey all,

I just went through my second earls oil cooler. Each had less than 100 miles before it started leaking oil from the cooler rows. Are these things not suitable for oil cooling? This is the one I have: http://www.summitracing.com/parts/ear-21900aerl . How is everyone mounting these to a gs1100 frame? I made a special bracket, but maybe that's causing the problem. My bracket just secures the top of the radiator and bolts it to the frame.

You can kind of see how it is bolted on here:

it needs support top and bottom. yours is just hanging off the top bracket.

Just remember, an opinion without 3.14 is just an onion!

How wheelie prone is that bike?

      Looks loud.

Flip it so that the fittings are on the bottom and brace the cooler at the top and the bottom.

I read to keep the lines upright if possible, that way it holds more oil...

The bike power wheelies in 1st without the nitrous, it's a 60 shot and I haven't used it yet. It has a 44T rear sprocket and a 530 chain. It's also very loud, I welded up a hollow megaphone exhaust; I tell people it sounds like a ****ed off bobcat.
