Wheel Swap
Well, I got the 96 1100 front end loosely bolted up with its 17" tire , still have standard GS1100 17" rear tire mounted. Stood bike up straight and checked clearance under header and was surprised to see I've only lost 1" meaning I've got 4.5" clearance vs the 5.5" I had originally. This new front is suppose to have .95 traxxion springs and race tech valves so there shouldn't be as much travel as the stock forks.
Still concerned about the wiring loom. If I bring it over the top of the lower triple wiring bundle prevents the forks from going all the way to the stop when they are turned to left. Anyone got a solution for this? I don't think the wiring loom is long enough to route under the triple and back into the head light bucket.
