I have made up the bungee cords from 3mm elastic rope and some wire hooks on the end. I crossed them under the carbs and they have just enough tension to stop the side flaps on the Windjammer lowers from vibrating. Each flap has the two inner clips for the Vetter badge with a small eyelet and they are just hooked into these.

How well did the paint you had mixed compare to the original paint on the side covers?

The colour is very close, but I was not able to give it the "marble" effect, that was just too much for me! How did you wire your hooters, sorry horns? Did you run separate wires or did you use the Vetter harness?Comment
