This has floated up in my head. One colour I was thinking of doing Old Yeller is a light gold.Thinking that with a black stripe and accenting pins.Hmmmmm......Any thoughts?

Tired of the bright yellow already? Is this gold like the champage you where considering before?

No,I'm fine with the yellow of Old Yeller.Thinking possible Skunk variations.Probably stay black with white just thinking about other schemes.Yeah it'd be the champagne colour

Today Greg was busy taking the rubber of the rims. He got the front one off okay, but the back one was a real pain and is still on the rim. He even tried to cut it off and it still won't come off. He spent such a long time and of course got really frustrated. So he has put it in the back of my car and I will take into Victoria to the motor cycle shop and have them take it off. His good friend works there so it will be no problem! As to the subject of the color, I know that either the black or gold color will both look really nice! I am so happy that he has this to work on over the winter, if he didn't he would be very bored!

Yes I did. Some PO put a 130x18 Metzler on a 2.15x18 rim.The schrader valve broke off in the tube brass, had to Dremel it out.Bent my spoons trying to get this POS off.Cut it around the circumference and as close as I could get to the bead with a jigsaw. No go.Never had this much trouble before. At least there's a back up plan.
Could not do this without your encouragement and help my dear.So sad still that your 400 had to be sold, know you where looking forward to learning to ride.

Greg, other than the serial number, who would be any wiser it's not a Skunk?

Seats bolt on... std signals don't have the issues self cansel's do...

                          next question?

***edit*** they both came down the same assembly line.

I'm not even gonna try fooling with the self cancel. Screw it.
MIne has a C seat. I think the E seats look like crap.
That and some blacked out rusty chrome bits it's gonna be pretty much stock.
I like the flat color side covers so they stay

I dig the idea of a "different" color Skunk. Even thought about reversing the colors. White base with a black stripe down the middle of the tank. OEM pin stripes. But the idea of owning a white bike is a bit weird.

Should see the pics I have of the WHITE 83 750 Interceptor I did about 25 years ago.The wife really likes it.
                                Been doing some stripping,

Red's mostly off the back and the clear is off the lower legs Dale sent me.

Didn't seem to do much to the stuff on the front though.May try again after work though.
