I can't say whether or not they're kidding, but I'm almost positive they're having a wet dream.

The price of the exhaust would put the whole bike in the region of $4-5k.

        Probably realistic.

        NOT.

Think it's the same guys with a bunch of other gold plated partsSpeaking of pipes traded Rob the good side for ones with a rotted muffler.Better than hacking up a good one for me.

You do know that the OEM part number in the microfische conains the screw size, right? For example, 01547-06407 is a 6mm x 40mm bolt. The microfische on MANY of the parts houses websights show the OEM part # ... and the factory "Case Cover" fische is pretty well laid out.
Just look at the part #, location, measure the bolt and put them in.

Yeah I spent the time when I got my kit from Z1 and sorted them out case cover by case cover which made it really easy when I was putting the covers back on.

So while my wife is in the hospital http://www.thegsresources.com/_forum...d.php?t=180729 I've been keeping busy

Barely look like the set Dale sent me

Did a full scale polish on the tops and bowls.A quick sisal only just to even out the bodies.

Good Therapy to pass the time! If you are done with the caps and bowls, you can hit them with a coat of car wax now to help keep them for oxidizing again. I use an old soft toothbrush to buff the wax out of the hard to reach places you just can't get to with a cloth. I usually don't with fork lowers because they are easier to get to and polish on a more regular basis.

Actually I hit them with the Dupli-Color clear wheel coating then baked them.Turned out real nice!
