    Here's the overall.

And a close up of the end.I prefer the "dogleg"style levers myself. These are eBay knock offs.

Thanks for the photos Greg. I very much appreciated seeing them.

Is the problem in getting the later lever to fit the '78's perch, the slight difference in curvature near where the ball of the cable seats?, or is it the length of the area where the little notch is?

            Happy I could help Dale.

            Weather stripped the airbox lid.

Seems a bit odd to worry about that with these in the box but I did it anyway.

The glove box cleaned up real nice, repainted the tool holder.

A bit more sanding to get rid of the rat bike matte black Looks good just a coat of primer I think.

The sidecovers are looking to be in great shape, thinking I'll just leave them in they're original state. Two less things to paint

Dale (rustybronco) suggested polishing the sidecovers, much better.Chuck Hann sent me the badges.Repainted the black and red to freshen them up.

Wow. A little polishing and it's a stark difference. Looking good.

What'd you do to polish them?

Took the paint stripper I had left to the tank.

Wire brushed the slag off,ran out of stripper and got to get more

After making sure the seat trim was ABS here http://www.thegsresources.com/_forum...d.php?t=189654 I reattached the broken bits with acetone.

Then made an acetone/abs slurry to fill in.Put it no the seat so it sets up where it needs to.

Stripping is done, only 4 dents to take care of.Not bad for a tank it's age.Started refining the seat trim to,Another layer of slurry tomorrow.
