Let me take the pics tomorrow of my mod and the bike with the 6 incher on it..Like i said too..theres a very noticeable gap between the top of the bucket and the bottom of the guages with the 6 incher that isnt there with a 7 inch?? Then again, depending on how soon you want it, i can give you the 6 inch stuff. Im only gonna throw it in the dumpster when i take it off..your call. Maybe send you the 6 inch stuff and you can fit it and if you dont like you can toss it.MY BIKES..1977 GS 750 B, 1978 GS 1000 C (X2)

Chuck I wish I could explain how they got like that. I can't tell you for sure the ears that were the on my GS1000EC were on it from the factory. All I do know is they were the exact same bends that were on my 80 GS850G from the factory, which came with a 7 inch headlight and they appeared as rusted as the rest of the bike, which leads me to believe they were original ears to the bike.

While I will make no claims this was an unmolested bike these ears look factory to.Very odd, again.Have the call out here http://www.thegsresources.com/_forum...d.php?t=191086 for some.

Inspiring.
I hope I can set aside the time and money for a thorough look at my skunky GS1000 next winter. This year, spring is too near.
