Crankshaft and conrod bearings

I am in the process of rebuilding My 1981 GS650G engine, I just received some of the bearings for the connecting rod and crankshaft from Suzuki, None of the con rod bearings have any oil hole drilled through the bearings, none of the crankshaft bearings have them either. I double checked the parts numbers and they are correct. The question I have is do I need to dill new oil holes in the new bearings, or are the bearings I got are okay, without the hole, I am thinking they need the holes. And is there some aftermarket bearings for this bike?(1981 GS650G)

I can only speculate why Suzuki changed the design of the bearings. I believe it was to keep as much oil on the crank for engine durability sake. close off the squirt hole in the rod, oil stays on the crank.

one more thing if I may be so forward. I believe this question would have been better asked in the 4 cyl engine section.

The rod bearings dont need the hole in them.
The lower main bearings need holes in them. Did you mistakenly get all upper mains?

No I got the right bearings, I know there is a different between the top bearings and the lower bearings. The fact that the new con rod bearings have no oil hole got me lost.
